I had the pleasure of crafting the visual design of the notifications hub in the RHS Grow app, ensuring to capture the charm of the new visuals whilst maintaining the elegance that RHS embodies. By balancing usability with the app's visual identity, I crafted a solution that aligns with RHS Grow's mission to inspire and support gardeners of all levels.

I like to start my design process in a sketchbook. Sketching quick ideas and making notes as I go along. I then recreate my sketches digitally, in this case using Figma where I iterate and refine my designs.

Once I established a clear visual direction for the notification tiles, I moved on to refining the rest of the wireframes for the entire notification journey. Through multiple iterations, I expanded and fine-tuned the concepts that would ultimately shape the final design.

Below are the completed designs and final components.

I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project, especially having the creative freedom to explore and iterate on my designs. Collaborating with the diverse capabilities of the team was a rewarding experience, and working closely with the engineers to quickly test and refine designs significantly accelerated the delivery process.
