During my university placement year, I had the opportunity to work as the sole graphic designer for La Marzocco UK, a leader in professional-grade espresso machines. This role allowed me to significantly expand my creative skill set, diving into everything from illustration to photography and more. Working at La Marzocco was an invaluable experience that deepened my expertise across a wide range of creative disciplines.
Here are a few examples of the design and illustration work I produced during my year at the company. I used a variety of software including Photoshop and Illustrator.
I had the opportunity to photograph new coffee shops and events like Vivienne Westwood's Autumn and Winter show in London.
Videography and animation was also a big part of the role. I would create content for social media channels including animations promoting events or event highlight reels. Here are a few examples of the work below.
